Funk hits the river

The Peabody RiverTop party will bring in the popular Memphis throwback dance band Dr. Zarr's Amazing Funk Monster for its weekly shindig at the downtown Little Rock hotel from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday, June 3. Admission is $5 for ages 21 and up. Dr. Zarr's has regularly played the Peabody Memphis Rooftop Party and features favorite hits of the '70s and '80s, complete with the look of the era.
