Double the fun

Looks like in May weekend fun starts two days early. In addition to Big Downtown Thursdays concerts in the River Market pavilions the first three Thursdays in May, the Peabody Little Rock is reviving its Rooftop Party concerts begun last fall. The concerts have been moved from Thursdays (where they conflicted with Big Downtown Thursdays) to Fridays.

Now called RiverTop Party, the concerts will be 7 to midnight weekly this summer on the hotel‚s second level terrace, beginning May 6. A portion of the $5 cover goes to a different charity or nonprofit each week.
